| A suggestion to the mods.
Are we able to org the marketplace so that we can choose to post in irons, bags, shoes etc etc. Easier for people to find what they want and easier for people to sell instead of gg thru all the posts.
Just suggesting | |

| Maybe the sellers should specify what they are selling, e.g what haragolfer did, by separating his posts clearly for others to see | |

But he forgot to put "WTS:" in front of his title. this make me thou it was some kind of review.

That would be great, i think. Would prefer that as opposed to the person compressing pics and info of his wedges, irons, drivers, bags all in 1 post, too messy

| Im generally ok with the maketplace the way it is .... However, at times the subject/ title of topic is extremely vague ...
- the use of WTS/ WTB/ WTT should be mandatory, - and the item brand and model should also be specified (exception being if there are multiple items)
Used to click on all posts before, but its too frustrating, and dont bother anymore ... Probably missing out on some good deals

That would be great, i think. Would prefer that as opposed to the person compressing pics and info of his wedges, irons, drivers, bags all in 1 post, too messy That is not a gd idea. If a person post 10 topics for 10 items, the latest topics will be filled with WTS threads and become unusable. We do not want to sacrifice community building for the sake of marketplace. Currently, we have not figured out a way for marketplace not to appear in latest topic as that require a lot of programming. Until then, do bear with this and like what duffader said, you want to strike gold, dig for it. Sorry for the inconvenience

| I have sold many an item on the golf site I am on in the US and they have modified the BST (buy, sell, trade) system a little to where there is a search type funtion to help in the searching.
When you post an item for sale there are several tick boxes you can check when posting. This allows for your ad to be selected in searchable queries. No different than narrowing a search on many internet sites, like amazon or ebay.
I agree that posting individual times for different items is silly and a waste of space. Put it all in one ad and have the ability to have some option to clarify what it is you are selling so someone looking can search or have a menu that offers to seek only iron sets, or wedges, or drivers...etc.
Not neccesary, but can work well.

| i have been in forums for years.. and i think the current marketplace is not an issue as what u might see. maybe the seller/buyer might wan to put wts/wtb/wtt to make ppl understand what is it about....
otherwise, i dont think there is big issues here...

Just a casual comment The objective of this place is for people of the same passion to meet and be friends. To put it plainly to u, if u are here primarily to sell things, u are not welcome.

Sorry for the inconvenience Kudos to the current team who is managing this place well & kindly bear in mind that this is a non-profit oriented outfit with people who hold day jobs...... Apart from moderators having to monitor the countless amount of info & jibberish that comes in here, there's "Project 2nd chance", "coffee shop talk", "local & overseas game", "loan of new equipment & testing", "GR monthly games" & etc which the team looks into on a daily basis. I reckon there should be a fair amount of appreciation demonstrated for the team in keeping this place going ~ don't fix what is not broken. I am confident that the administrator will introduce changes to the forum what they deem fit at the right time ~ holding true to whatever mission they set out from the very beginning. Keep up the good work boys & girls
