A really good friend of mine worked at Sawgrass for several years and had many interactions with a good amount of the touring pros that practice and play there.
He told me that KJ is a really nice guy, pretty quiet and he tried the best he could to communicate with the staff (did not speak great English at the time) and answer any questions or just hang out and talk golf.
Love to see good down to earth people have some success.

Clubhouse brings back some good memories.
Celebrated my Wedding Anniversary by playing a round there in bone-chilling cold and rain last year.
Bleddy overpriced green fees but the last 3 holes were worth it.
Dun remember if I shared some photos before but here are some. Sorry if it is a repost.

Been reading that its one of the toughest courses in the world. Why is that so?
Apart from the hole 17 and hole 18 where fairways are so narrow, i cant really see why? Then again what u see on TV doesnt really give a good perspective of it

@nietsu.....it is one of the hardest courses I ever played. It is very demanding off the tee and the approach shots are brutal if you are not hitting from the right side of the fairway or from the rough. let alone one of the well placed bunkers or many, many water hazards throughout the course. It requires you to be able to work the ball left to right and right to left. Just a very penal place if you are off that day. Add in the tournament conditions for the PGA tour and the wind/weather/sea level and you have a tough test of golf.
I just recall the times that I played there it was a ball strikers paradise. Premium on being accurate and having above average length.
