Breaking News Singapore's PM Lee announces new Cabinet line-up; K Shanmugam named foreign minister but will retain his portfolio as Law Minister.
Three ministers will be retiring from Cabinet - DPM Wong Kan Seng, National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan and Transport Minister Raymond Lim.
DPM Teo Chee Hean will be Minister for Home Affairs and co-ordinating Minister for National Security, while DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be Finance Minister and Manpower Minister.
Two newly-elected MPs have also been appointed ministers - Heng Swee Keat is named Education Minister, while Major-General Chan Chun Sing will be Acting MCYS Minister and Minister of State for Information, Communication and the Arts | |

| MBT should stay back to clear his own mess with his new appointment as dy to National Development Minister. remember the last crisis in 1996 when hdb 4room in central is about 400k and yr 2002 at about 350k, but now, yr 2011 a 4room hdb can go about 600k. asking yourself, did your pay increases that much.... and your dear MBT said is market demand and not bubble ;( | |

He will probably have to dismantle the current HDB system & somehow put it back together again to achieve its main objective... affordable public housing for the masses. Like what he did to our health care system. | |
