Newbie Golfer!

Hi everyone! I'm Derek aka stagedbrute. Just picked up golf almost 2 months ago. Been undergoing daily training whilst i was in Thailand for a month, have also gone to a course there once. I go to the Toa Payoh Driving Range to practice shots now, anyone from here go there? Would love to pick up some great tips haha

i play at Toa Payoh once a week, usually after work. But my swing is very poor, hardly can offer any help. But i like to watch people play, and observe how they hit the balls. I find you can pick up some tips by watching.

I play at Toa Payoh too But i do so usually in the morning or early afternoon due to the happy hour promotion lol. Yes, same here, i tend to walk around and watch others play during rest as well. Are you planning on taking lessons?

Ah always wondered.... how wrong was I

Once upon a time I saw two flights: one was described as Vegas flight - the other was BVA flight. I always thought the one labeled Vegas as the more dangerous.

I'm Ed.... i play at TP range twice a week. I like the place. I also practice during the promo hrs. i just started abt 2 mth or so.... still struggling with my iron but will keep practising. now doing PW, 7 iron and 6 iron only.... for the nxt 2 mths. Myb we can meet up one day at TP range.....

Same here, i started playing about 2 months ago as well, but i went for daily lessons for about a month.I stopped going to TPY range 2 weeks ago, cause i feel the balls there are very old. I now go to the range at MBGC, where the balls are newer and cheaper. Hopefully, i might get to see you there!

Might want to try OCC as they having promo dollar for dollar top up. Promo on Wed only from 5-9pm.
