| Won't be able to play golf for longer than I expected. Other than my golf set, also bought many accessories. Wonder should I sell them off or keep? Sighh ... this is depressing. | |

| Yes, bad bad elbow.
Did the steroid injection. Didn't heal.
Last week, the pain worsen.
Right thumb 'cramp', couldn't move.
Doc says could be not a tennis elbow. Could be the neck affecting the nerves down to the arm. Gotta go for X-ray. Waiting for appointment. Wait wait wait.... already affecting my daily routines, still wait.

| Oh dear!!! take care and better to rest for the time being. Btw have you thought of seeking a second opinion, medically. Just a thought as you have been having this problem for quite some time. | |

Thanks, mloy. I did go for second opinion. So now, best is to go get X-ray to really SEE where the problem lies.

| Golfjoy, I have golfer's elbow on my right arm and both tennis and golfer's elbow on my left. I have took 2 shots of steroid on my left arm but after it wore off the pain is back. Then I went for at least 10 sessions of accupunture on my left arm but still nagging pain. Fortunately, my golf visa had been cancelled by my wife and for the past year, i am happy if I can golf once in a month or 2 months. I am now taking on a daily basis 1 tab of Panadol Extend and it does help with the discomfort. With the aid of the Band-It elbow brace, I am still able to go golfing when temporary visa is granted. Don't give up la. You put in so much effort already so why waste it. Just KIV your set and do a total rest. Let us know when you recover ok? Recommend you to buy the Band-It elbow guard. Ask Mowen. His shop selling. It is really helpful. You can wear it the whole day and it is suppose to help with the recovery. It also look very 'garang' wearing it and walking about with it on ha ha.

I hope so too! Appointment is at the end of the month. Seriously, there's nothing much I can do but rest the right arm. Which is a bit tough as it's my master arm. Well, gotta try! gotta try!

So very true. What Weesern mentioned was told to me by my sinseh too. When he treated my elbow and wrist, he went all the way up to my neck, and to the head as well. Golfjoy, this time I suggest you accompany your treatment with complete rest and NO golf until you're 100% again. Treatment and more golf at the same time is no solution. Don't let the pains and aches turn chronic, then you might have to give up golf, which is sad since you love it so much. Please listen this time hor.

Rested for 3 months but hands itchy, played again. But when I went onto the course, realized couldn't concentrate at all as was worried about the pain all the time. Defeats the purpose right? So yah... stopped since. Yes uncle bird bird, I will be good ... THIS time.

This will be my 3rd opinion liao ... lol Think X-ray or MRI should be able to pinpoint the problem?! Share with you what happened at the polyclinic. Doc says to do ultra-sound scan. I questioned him, "Ultra-sound scan can see meh??? Should be X-ray or MRI right?" Then he said, "Yah yah ... " FAINT.
