US specs vs jap specs

Hi all,

What's the main diff between clubs with us specs and Jap specs. Quite puzzled when I came across these two terms.

US shaft is '1 step higher'. Meaning to say US Reg is equiv Jap Stiff and US Stiff is Jap X-stiff; something like that.

That's my point of view

Will there be a significant weight difference?

depends on the brand. TM Reax shafts are one of the worst.

Lets just say that even if weight is the same, the flex/ kick point/ torque n such will b diff.

A good analogy will be to take any two 1.6L car, they will have different power/ fuel consumption etc etc
