Tavistock Cup

Watching the Tavistock Cup now.

Interesting to note many players up close on TV.

1) Tiger Woods new swing looks shorter and steeper at the upswing. He seemed to be a little outta sync.

2) Ernie Els new putting stance. Much crouched and bent over, ala Jack Nicklaus style.

3) Adam Scott's new broom stick putter. He seemed happy with it.

4) G.Mac solid iron play and putting. I cannot remember how many times he was putting for birdie from with 20 yds.

5) White is Hot! Following Poulter's all white Cobra driver, the rest, with the likes of Goosen and Immelman, are all following suit with TM army of players with white head drivers and woods.

Is it just me or is Tiger's finish more upright ?... seems awkward but still pulls off some great shots

Guess the financial clout of TM really pushing the white stuff out fast and furious.

Tavistock is a really great event that is not only fun to watch but benefits some charities. So it is a win win.

It is a little more relaxed than a normal tour event so the players are a little looser.

I agree Asahi...that TM is pushing the envelope and forcing companies to stay on top of their game if they want a piece of that pie. Amazing that they come up with something and everyone else chases after them. They are a force to be reckoned with. Love the white driver...something about it. Might need to get me one of those.
