Stopped by the Den today

Hi All,

Just wanted to say thanks to DGman for showing me around his shop today. Coming from the states I was eager to see what a shop or club fitting outfit would look like here. I have to say I was very impressed. The facilities were top notch and it now makes sense why it is quite popular.

I also got to see DGman in action a little and his skills are quite evident. He also talked to me at length about the Zen putters, the fitting process, etc. Very informative and the putters that I did roll in the studio were really, really good. They felt every bit as good as any of the well known brands, and put a great roll on the ball.

I even managed to hit a couple of balls in the net and saw some of the results on the trackman. What a neat thing to be able to do, I just wish I was not so rusty. Might have to head back and hit a few more to get the rust off...

Final mention would be the Scotty Cameron putter and headcover collection. Really, really nice. I am a headcover guy and he has a very solid collection there for sure.

All in all it was really great to head over there and meet some of the guys and Eric. I am really excited to be over here and have met some great people through GR, so thank you.

I have a feeling I will be spending some time there.

Hey Guys...it was great to meet some of you as well. Bear with me as it will take me a little time to remember name to face to screenname.

I did not purchase anything today, but I am sure it will be a matter of time before I leave with a few goodies!!! Beer

I did pick up the balls that Eric was nice enough to provide me with as a welcome present, and I can't wait for my sticks to show up so I can use them.

It was just a great experience to meet some new people, hang out at a great place and talk some golf again. I am looking forward to doing it more often.

Love the trackman btw. It is great to be able to see on a computer graphic what you feel is going on in your swing when hitting into a net. Makes hitting balls inside much more productive and I feel is a great fitting tool, especially with someone who is adept in fitting.

Can't wait to actually get out on some of the courses here in Singapore and other places close by....get in some games. Heard a few new terms, Saddam and loi lei or something like that..both sound like fun.

see this forum is great..it can bring a complete stranger like Dan to the den where he can meet his potential golf kakis in the game of golf.

But truly nice having you at the den today and its great to meet someone who have been involved in the game at coaching and playing.

Mark is not from this forum but his brother in law is a very famous chinese actor whom you will know too.
