what a humble experience in MBGC today

Just wanted to share my experience today in MBGC with one of our GRian by the nick of Andrew-Golf

Place : MBGC
Tee off time @ 0828 hr

As usual, i reached MBGC at 8am, register and get ready for the game, Andrew-golf already hitting balls at driving range, in which set a very good example to me, you know "always get ready, get warm up, hit some balls"..something I'm very guilty of..

I then proceed to putting green for some putting practise and shortly he was there, practising his putting too. His 'very swee' scotty caught my eye almost immediately....

We then proceed to our 1st tee, thereby join by another 2 balls, 1 AngMo and 1 local.

His tee off with the D910 RIP stiff shaft was superb, his fairway game was great with his MP58 iron. He has very nice compact backswing , good tempo and ball striking is good. The MP58 is serving him well.

Also as usual, after the front 9, my game started to get haywire, no stamina...Andrew-golf had maintain everything he had done on the front nine to back nine...CONSISTENCY !!

I learn a great deal from andrew-golf today, my short game is lousy and he has display great patient, waiting for me and even give me tips on chipping

What a fruitful and humble experience i had today in MBGC

ok ok..if you are there on 4th, then you wnt be seeing me, coz i be there on 5th...haha !!

you need to be very patient with me on short game, i'm the "batam to malaysia, then malaysia back to batam" guy..haha !!!

just like what we did today, avoid bunker at all cost, on 5th i will avoid GJ at all cost...haha !!

this is mainly to show my appreciation to andrew-golf, not to get him to play level with your shifu...

i believe the deal between your shifu and andrew-golf should still remain unchange...afterall golf is a gentleman game...haha !!!

yes yes, a few things must mentioned :

1. Mother nature is extremely kind to us today, sun is not too strong, some wind to cool us down

2. We manage to avoid all bunkers at all cost, even though the last few holes, all kind of funny shots were made, just to avoid bunkers

3. I finally had a chance to try D910 with RIP shaft, like what you say 'STIM sia'...orgasmic feel

4. I played badly, especially on the back nine...keke

overall, great game, great weather with great company...what more can i ask for ?....haha
