I like popping and luring, I've a major stick 14-16 Lbs with Alphas and Stella bait casters.

In fact, I just went to Bkk to Bunma to get myself some kims... I used to go to GT pond in Sungei buluh on weekends for the GT's and Garoupas....

Only thing that I dun do is deep sea fishing. That's definitely out of the picture.

Got any spots in Singapore u wanna share, do PM me..?

I used to fish in Aust..but just can't find the sort of fishing spot/activities in Singapore. Want to share some spots? I have about 6 rods sitting in the store room..haiz...maybe it is about time to bring them out..

I tried jigging a few times with my son, seems very tough to catch any squid here.

Bob, unlike Aust, I think there are only a couple of hot spots for lure fishing here... I certainly miss trout fishing down under.

Couple of spots like labrador park or punggol jetty still holds
Some squids and cuttlefish.
Try 2 hrs before and after high tide.
And pink jig works best!

Trout fisherman! Do you also flyfish? Water hazards always very distracting when i m on the course.
Think I need to bring a fishing rod together with my clubs.

lol fred..fishing was my first love till i started golf.
My boxes of lures, spinning and baitcasting reels plus countless rods can vouch for that passion.
I have gear for most fishing types except for flyfishing.
Haven't had the chance to try that yet. Smile
