What happens to golf membership when member pass away?

I was wondering what happens to club membership when the member pass away. Particularly those premium clubs like Sentosa, SICC or TMCC.

Does the estate benefit from it and hence, be given to the family members?

Anyone knows?

i don't think club memberships are transferable.

maybe u can check the T&C clause on the club's website? i would advise that u call them.

i think next of kin will take over the asset.

My friend passed away after getting a stroke in Surabraya during a golf trip and he is a Poresia member.

The Poresia Sales told me that my friend's son can take over the membership and continue paying subscription if he wants.

I am not sure if this case is a "gesture of goodwill" from the club or is by default under TCs.
