I like what the commentator said when Yang sank the final shot at the 18th... it was something about how Tiger now knows what it feels like to be at the receiving end of things. On the LPGA scene American public are fearful of the Asian invasion, Korean lady golfers to wit. With Yang's victory today, this will further dismay the myth that American PGA's golfers are the best. You know the claim that Jack Nicklaus is the 'greatest golfer of all time' etc. This dubious claim has to be challenged since the rest of the world never had the opportunity to compete against him. | Chiak lak liao....I can imagine the number of Koreans coming to Mission, Dongguan, Kunming, Phuket for golf this Dec liao....prices will go up.....unless the KR won maintain as this x-chg rate.
A good pulse check will be to go MBGC to see how many KR at range tonite.....hehehehe | |

| Actually, Tiger is Asian, Black & Caucasion in racial makeup.
I think his grandmother was white (?).
Either way, all the blacks in the USA have at least a small percentage of caucasian blood in them. A legacy from being slaves for almost 200 years until the Civil War ended in 1885.

For him, it's drive for show, putt for dough He was handicapped on the 606 yd. 11th hole. Whereas Tiger got on in 2. Tiger would have got an eagle if he had made a kodak defining clutch putt. Then it would not have been history. Not many Asian male golfers can outdrive PGA golfers. Vijay doen't count. We can safely say we will see a 700yd par 5 hole soon on the PGA tour. | |
