PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

Tiger at +1 is 6 strokes behind the leaders (5-). What do you think of his chances of winning the elusive Major for the past 5+ years if he is 6 shots back from Round 1 to Final Round.

My view:

1st Round - It's very possible to catch up as it's only the 1st Round.

2nd Round - It's still possible to catch up with 2 more rounds to go.

3rd Round - Will be tough as he needs to go low to pose a challenge for the Final Round.

Final Round - An uphill task to catch the leader/s in a final round and he need some help from the leaders and all those below to play badly (which is highly unlikely)

Conclusion: TW would have to have a very good Round 2 score to be of any challenge. He has to be in the Top 5 to ensure himself of a real chance of winning the PGA Champioship.

Both Tiger and PM had trouble at hole 18.

There are many other players around to make both TW and PM work harder.

Much as I wanted TW to win, hope is diminishing with 2 rounds to go. Not all is lost though, There is still a glimmer of hope. Wait for others to fall (Which is unlikely, considering the form of some players) or be moire focus on his shots.
