Hi,

Anyone tried the brand Fourteen?

Was helping a friend to buy a wedge. Seeing him playing the clubs and how he controls and checked it.... I can see that he absolutely loves it.

But the club is slightly pricey tho, he paid sg220 for it in Isetan sale with sg40 rebate.

I have seen these clubs at Transview. There are the official distributors for them. I think you can try them at the OCC range.

Have been looking at them, the minimum price is going for 1.5K... The driver is selling for 1K. Are they really that special and worth the money?

I have not tried it before but was told that it is pretty forgiving.

As in any Japanese clubs, I am not surprised about the pricing though.

I might go to the transview shop at OCC to try it out one of these days Very Happy

Miura is another good make but deep pocket needed. You can find them at TorqueGolf.

Mizuno is still the best, in my opinion. Both quality-wise and value-wise...

After discount for the Fourteen 4-p shld be around 1.3k (steel, NSPRO). A quality set. U may conside Bridgestone J36 pocket cavity (endo forged), forgiving and not so pricey (est $550 from Ebay, local shop $899)

I have a Mizzy 57s, I am asking is because I am very tempted to check out the Fourteen TC 550. I have read reviews of this clubs being much better than in terms of forgiveness and distance. AT the moment, I am not sure if I should... Question

In my experience, those kinds of reviews are kind of sketchy. It will depend on the shafts and set up of the clubs in relation to your swing, etc. I read a lot of reviews and go on to try so many clubs. In the end, I always go with the one in my bag for two simple reasons: I am so familiar to the one I have and more importantly it has been fitted for me!

Unless you need a Super Game Improvement clubs, I do not think the heads matter that much to our game asides from the grooves. I am concern more about the shaft I am playing than the heads...

Just my 2cents...

Am using PRGR forged. Formerly using Mizuno MP52. No way are they comparable. PRGR is so much forgiving and 'buttery' . Comparing to Mizuno, I now use less effort to get flying & the feel is great. But definitely not inexpensive; but for that quality...... u hav to decide, really. For me, i did not regret paying tt $$$

Cheers
