Cocking of wrist

I am having some problems with the above mentioned. My cocking is kind of unnatural and i tend to top the ball....

learning from a coach is hard enough face to face, let alone learning through a forum or reading a sentence

I like this drill but I use a slightly modified version of it. After the initial cocking, I then bring the club around to the parallel to target position. Take the club upwards from there and hit. He is right about the tension in the arms and hands. This tensions can be reduced by having the correct wrist angles and arm geometry. Best to check with a pro as lennylim has mentioned

Me need some advice on cocking of wrist for full wedge shots..
When playing full wedge shots do you:
A: play like a normal iron shot
B: cock wrist earlier than iron shot
C: non of the above
D: seek pro help!!!

Now a bit lost when playing my wedge shots...

I cant give advice lah...but I can share with you what I do....just like most of my shots be it full , half, qtr.....I have minimal wrist cocking.........I comfort myself by kinda tell myself that I mirror Steve Stricker...hahahah

Me dun cock wrists for pitching and chipping too even though my coach been trying to get me to do it!

Me also try to minimise my wrist movement when nearer to green side..

Cos jus now at range i tried the minimal wrist cock and early cocking.... Having more "feel" of the shot with early cocking... Hmmm....

think me gonna have a "cock swing" soon...
