PostSubject: Shipping clubs overseas   Shipping clubs overseas I_icon_minitimeThu Jun 04, 2015 9:28 am

Hi all, a friend of mine wants to buy a club from me. He's based overseas and asked me to ship to him(he will pay). Anyone with experience shipping clubs(in this case its a hybrid including shaft) and which shipping company I should go to?

Oh and where can I get a box long enough to fit the club???

Thanks for any input. Cheers!

Try to go to panwest or some golf shops. They usually throw away some boxes outside their premises. Those at golf course are more friendly I think.

why not try using PVC pipes?
easily available from hardware shops
and can get them to cut the the length of your clubs

no problem with local singpost.

Use what to cover the ends?? scratch

Practically, T/S can get those unwanted club boxes from Pro shop ... I always come across Pan West @ OCC dump unwanted driver boxes outside the shop.

pipe caps, free when u buy the pipe
pipe cost around $20, hybrid length

practical or not, depends on individual

if i sending something to my friend, i would like him/her to receive it in good order
a little effort is nothing

when using courier, it goes through many hands.
so its an expensive piece, i rather err on the side of caution~

Very Happy
