Personally, i dont like Octville. The grass is cow grass so not so nice, not so scenic compared to other courses, and the toilet facilities is a let down lor. However, i must say its a cheap course, so its good for beginners to practise there. Somehow, i kept losing my balls cos the grass was too high and my balls were hidden amongst the grasses. Even on the fairway green, i still could not find my balls... Strange

Will PM u Rohanna contact if u so decided to book Octville. I m not sure abt the weekday rate. Pls chk w her. My opinion to this place is only worth visiting once. It is abt the same standard as Daiman 18 if u r looking for a cheap course to practice on sat morning cos else where are expensive. However, if u r playing on weekdays, there r many choice clubs available at good rate. Consider Ponderosa. I might consider to play there next time but on weekdays cos weekend is expensive over RM$200++.

Played at Octville last month on weekday. Paid RM55 as walk-in visitor.

Thanks for the contact. Is Rohanna a bking agent for other clubs too? Personally I prefer to play in JB during the weekdays due to the ease at customs and 'cos the green fees too. I normally make my e-bookings thru these 2 websites: Golfgreedy n Clickateeonline, good rates for weekday play......

Rohana/Oscar can also do booking with other clubs. They might not be the cheapest sometimes. For Sunday afternoon, Henry can book Puteri B abd C course at Rm 80. Palm Villa at Rm 108. For Starhill, try calling direct, look for Rolita, 3 or 4 balls is Rm 123.

Thanks Jehoi for yr help & info. Of cos if u can help to book member's guest rate at RM$100 for weekday pm game that would be nice. Tenatively we plan to play there on either 29th or 30th Dec if no changes last minute. Will advise again nearer to date. Hope to see u again for the game. Tks!

On the proviso that I am already a member at that time!!! I will see if they need a member to play along with you guys or not because unfortunately I will be working during those days...

Chris D, its unfortunate that you were unwell and could not make it at the last minute to join us for the wonderful game.
