Did some checking out at the golf shops today and saw the following 2 sets.

Cobra sapphire: 10 clubs plus bag (Driver, 3-Fairway, 5-Hybrid, 7-Hybrid, 8-iron, 9-iron, PW, GW, SW, Putter, Cart Bag)

Callaway Solarie: 13 clubs plus bag (Driver, 7-, 5-, 3-wood, 7-, 6-, 5-hybrid
9- and 8-iron, SW, PW, AW, Putter, Bag)

Both sets are selling around same price. I like the design of Cobra sapphire. But, the Callaway set seems more value for money with more clubs, and since I am a new learner, and been told I might not be even using all the clubs, the solarie half set is very enticing.

Can Ladies/hubbies/BF who have experience with the 2 sets share your experience/ insights?

Thanks!

Have you tried looking at Mizuno ladies set?

or a few years ago, when I was in Sinapore.

I saw some beautiful sets from Kasco, colored pink hehe and Yamaha brands

Yeah. Saw the Mizuno and kasco set. Well, Mizuno looks kinda plain and kasco was way too pink! I did ponder a bit on the Mizuno actually ... haiz.. If only money grow on trees, i could try them all!

OC using Callaway Solarie. Based on her, it's forgiving and light. I was toying ard with her driver and hybrid and yeah, it has a nice feel on impact. She got the half set as it is good enough to last for very long.

I think GD for some good price for ladies beginner... forget the brand... think its dunlop... should be around 300+- for whole set including a stand bag...
