roughly what time is good to reach the customs?

can go by 2nd link to starhill? or woodland is nearer?

Fabian, go by Woodlands is nearer. Refer to markteo's direction which he posted a few pages up.

It tends to jam mid morning so better to head off by 10am.

From this google map, unless you stay Jurong area, else using Woodland causeway seems to be nearer and pay less toll.

From past experience, I always try to reach causeway at about 10.00 am to cater time for heavy traffic. If end up early, can have more time for lunch and follow by warm up in the range (but this range thing never happen, too lazy), shop the golf shop.....
