club fitting??

hey guys,

any recommendations on club fitters? good ones..:)thanks!!

You might not be getting many or favourable responses to your question lovinggolf since there have been numerous queries on this subject.

Consider this friendly advice:

Although unwritten, it is generally considered good etiquette to do a search first on forums to see if there are already answers to the questions you have. Many long time members have already answered the question you have asked umpteen times, just so you know.

There is Big Fish look for DGman in the forum . best club fitter i ever met . He give you a tour standard of club fitting. they got 3 shop in singapore , one Orchid country club , 1 in Keppel By Ivan , the other is Bukit Merah . All the club fitter produce great service.

There is also Golf Studio with Mark Higgs in Paya Lebar. he good too just depend one what you like . He mostly like to club fit with nakashima by experience but i maybe wrong .

there is no such thing as the best fitter. i am sure most will agree that we can be spot on as well as be off. the golfer themselves have to be very competent for any fitter to get it a spot-on result.

its like we always propagate - if you have a consistent swing, its easier to get optimal results. if not i cannot turn a bad shot into a positive result.

but when it comes to putter fitting, its another thing.....i think we have managed to raise the bar in this uncharted area.

For putter fitting, you not only change the concept of it but also went beyond that into the whole concept of putting too!

as luck would have it...one of the junior that we have fitted and work with on various putting and scientific mental approach (of getting and staying in the zone) did pretty well in the recent National Ranking at Keppel.

Imagine this - first 9 holes, he was 9 over. the combined total for the remainder 45 holes was 3 over and up to the 44 hole he was only 1 over. for a 13 year old with a 210 meter drive i think it was an exceptional result. i heard he was very focused and played brilliantly throughout the tournament. Except for the nervous start, he could have won in his division, but thats golf, no matter how prepared you are, it takes a special streak and individual to win.

the boy represents your club in the premier league.

Oh, if I think who I think he is, have seen him play.. rather quiet guy, pretty focus when setting up....

my fellow Doc-Luv......it should apply to marriage coz we made a vow...but to date, I don make a vow to my club .... yet though I am frequently known as 'club-whisperer'....

it really depend on what was done on the fitting....

just shaft itself had wide range of prices....

Hey boss, you always have some words of wisdom to share!

I love my putter thou a still trying to drill into my routine what you advised, am already seeing good results, just need to work more on my read... And is the new clubs on their way? Can i book an appointment with you now??? haha... pretty excited with the fitting... need more consistency in my game, and hopefully better scores!

out of 10 people who comes in for a fitting, only 30% get fitted. so unless we can make a difference, your pocket will stay intact.

BBG...clubs are in manufacturing but order taking has started.
