Seriously, I never think about lag. Just visualize pulling the handle of your club towards the ball instead of thinking clubhead to the ball.

I've hit a couple of 7is so well that the ball hasn't found the ground yet...

...they're stuck in some tree branches.

Hit my fav club 8 iron about 155-158 metres. So 7 iron about 168 metres.

Me can carry my 7-iron a total dist anywhere from 10 (yes, ten) to 160m ... but the choice of how far the ball goes is not in my control as I swing like a mad cow and super inconsistant (Trackman put my 7-iron swing at 90+mph, but impact factor anywhere from 1.1 to 1.5)

As some of the "uncles" I meet on the course always say... "Young Man, Slow down your swing. It is not how fast you swing, how long you hit and what clubs you use... it is how many strokes you take for the ball to enter the ball"... they then proceed to par/birdie.... while I bogey/double

So no worries.. Slicer51. Dist is not everything.

on mp68, around 140m. with TM CGB Max around 150-160.

My is about 130m when I use a graphite shaft. Just got a steel shaft and it dropped by about 3/4 club. I hope to improve on my club head speed and focus more on good contact.
