| Would you rather…
a.) Have a 15-footer to win The Ryder Cup; or b.) Watch your opponent attempt a 15-footer to win the Cup.

| My answer is B as prefer to be in the advantageous position . Will only elect A if match is to be square without holing the put.

| If you ask a ryder cup player, the answer should be A. But I never play ryder or any cups, only for weekend makan.
So if I choose, then the calculations are clear: I have less than 50% chance to make putts more than 10 feet (let alone 15 feet) and the same for most amateurs. The answer then is obvious.

| Straight putt uphill (A).
Downhill breaking putt on fast greens (B).

| A not bcoz you want to putt or anything but simply bcoz A's worst case is a tie. Best case win.
B's worst case is to loose. But its best case is only tie. No chance of winning.
Is it? | |

| A of course. No matter how bad ur putting is u still got chance to win.
for B, if the guy miss, next putt is for a draw (very very very slim chance of 3 putting). The chance of winning is very small (almost no chance of winning)
