Is putter design (i.e face balanced, heel balanced) supposed to match putting stroke?

I heard that if you have a Arc stroke, one should be using blade putter (heel balanced)

If you have a straight back straight thru, one should be using mallet putter (face balanced)

The thing is, I have a slight arc stroke and i like the weight associated with a mallet putter. Should I stick with mallet or try to get a blade putter (or maybe a heavier blade putter)

Putter has most varieties... hence hardest to choose...

I think it is a club that needs to follow your feeling. If you feel good, most likely it is the one. But I feel we should get someone to take a look at our stroke as well. Many misputt could be because we are not doing the right thing... OR never practice enough

Just my opinion

whatever helps u hole putts, no matter what others say, as long as it feels right and looks right to you. no point being concern about all this talk, and its heel shafted, not heel balanced.
