TaylorMade Penta 5 Layer ball

Interesting... I read about it in golf digest a while ago, wouldn't mind trying it out.

saw it for sale on eBay and was put off by the price.
USD96 for a dozen.

It looks very intresting. However, I don't play enough golf to be able to tell the diff between 2/3/4 layer balls. Only know that I should be sticking to 2/3layer ball. Reason my swing speed not fast enough to "Activivate" the inner most core....at lesat that's waht my instructor told me....

lol i've tried all sorts of balls and i honestly can't tell the difference. i think i'm too concerned with where my ball ends up (usually OOB) to discern feel.

what this ball claims to have however is fantastic!

@Ironfist : I totally agree with you. More worried about landing on the fairway / green, clearing water / harzard

The one thing which scares me is that I can't tell the difference between a Pro V and my NXT Extreme/Tour balls.

Nothing is perfect. Or is it....

wow? .... too chim le... golf is getting confusing.

@joleelyn...golf has always been confusing. Been at it for 5 months and still can't get a consistent swing. The only thing consistent about my game is that it is always inconsistent..

haha i was in this since i was 16. still find it as confusing as ever..

stopped for 3 years and soooo many things have changed. LOL. I cant keep up!

I think they don't deliver to singapore so you need to go through vpost of some other service.

Interesting to see how they classify "handicap" of balls.

Just curious, where do these folks collect so many balls to sell? All from the courses? Ppl lose that many balls all the time? How did they gain access to so many courses unless they have marshalls and maintenance attendants as friends?

They claimed that they ship from north america. U can go to their shop at Roxy to see the balls they have. But call them first as the guy may be out doing delivery.

The mint is almost as good as brand new, some probably don even have any markings on them. Others might have some printed corporate logos but condition is still very good.

A grade is not bad and still quite acceptable. You prob will see a bigger difference in the B grade.

Prob you shd go down to the learning tee to have a look.
