VEP Tag Collection

Anybody who have applied online for the VEP have received any notification for collection yet? I am still waiting for mine.

The VEP will only be required in June 2016.

Applied, done and verified but yet to receive the notification for RFID tag collection date. Read the latest update and was delayed till next year. But again, Malaysia Boleh!!!!. they can change their words any time... Laughing

Tks for the update. Me too have applied and verified waiting for notification for collection. Make sure I have a copy of the verified application form in my car in case caught unprepared at the custom. Please update any new notification here if anyone came into knowledge first of any. The last time they wanted to collect RM20.00 barrier were build but JB abandon the project, now federal Government wanted JB to collect VEP and keep postponing the date hopefully they will abandon again for the benefit of both SG visitors and JB businesses!

But they come with a new charges for MACS from RM30.00/year
now they want to collect RM105.00/year, policies keep on changing!!

That's why I gave up going JB play golf! sian!

Have they announced that the MACC 30 is going for 105? When was it announced? Can copy and paste ? Missed that one. Thanks.

Saw this in the website can't remember and I did not save a copy as I
hv lost interest in going to JB golfing with all these hassle!

MACC is no longer issued at JB immigration. They sub contract it to an agent located at Orchard Hotel (or somewhere there), and they charge S$30 instead of RM30 ! S$30 is almost RM100, the difference of RM70....you know where the money go? The whole "privatisation" was low key and not announced, so not many people know about it. Now they are re considering moving back to JB immigration. Talk about flip flop!

Yeah, last month made a wasted trip down to JB CIQ to renew my MACs and was told the MACs office no more there, only can do in Singapore Orchard parade lv3.

VEP tag also, apply liao, now no sound no picture....

Well the rumous of old uncles looking for coffee money from Singapore drivers as the Chinese New Year approaches is affecting the volume of cars going into JB ( I think). The past 2 weeks, I dont have to get stuck in traffic on the way to JB Same goes for on the way back. Please keep more rumors coming in guys. I am happy with it.If anybody wishes to go in, the timing after 1pm to 3pm is comfortably smooth for info.
