PostSubject: Sotong Newbie Says "Hi"   Sotong Newbie Says "Hi" I_icon_minitimeTue Feb 25, 2014 12:41 pm

Hi Everyone,

I'm very new to golf, yes very new, no lesson no golf set yet (sweat)

1. Can any kind soul recommend a lady coach who is patience?

2. Which set should I buy for beginner? Am looking at Adams A12 OS Integrated Complete Graphite Ladies set or Wilson Profile HL Women's set. Both in Petite size.

3. Any idea where can Iget the petite set in Singapore?

Many Thanks,
Jas

Hi Jas, welcome.

re golf sets: perhaps u shld find a coach first and determine if you really like the game.then decide how much u wanna spend.

for petite size, Mizuno Efil and Maruman Figaro can be your choices.they cost abt 80m plus to 1k for a new set.

I'm sure the other GRian s here can help u with e coach.

Cheers

Have any GRians or friends been coached by SEO You Gin, bukit batok rap angle golf pro? From what I read, It seems that she is patient and speaks good English in personality wise . How's her technical teaching skills? Have a lady friend who wish to take lessons.

Its wise to head dwn in person and hve a conversation with her to learn more than hearsay. Smile
Perhaps when she s having a lesson n you can observe. Or make request fr a short trial if available? Wink

It is good to learn from a Korean PRO as most Koreans pro golfers have very sound textbook swing ...

Most Korean LPGA golfers have more or less similar textbook swing (maybe except Inbee Park) ...

Very useful and solid tips from this pretty Korean female pro ... I doubt many local teaching Pro will teach you these 3 vital tips (importance of proper weight shift) in detail ... Lets watch and see what I mean ...

Notice that she was doing a squart a la Tiger Woods on the downswing before lifting up again on the following thru (last segment of the clip)? This is a power move ...  Laughing

i tried the squart move with my irons but was not very consistent with it especially with longer irons (hit the turf earlier on some shots and took some power off my already-not-so-good shots). though i do admit i enjoying doing squarts in my exercise regimes.. hehe..
