I just dun understand why you guys would brave an obvious NIGHTMARE JAM at the Causeway and 2nd link, just to play at Daiman 18???

Don't forget, it's public holiday, and we know what happens at the bridges during public holidays...

the only saving grace is food at clubhouse is good

If you want to play on cow grass, can try Octville(signature island hole), Austine or RJCC(walking course with personal caddy, macam PRO).

Let me think.. how muchi is RJCC for AM game on Friday?

just played RJCC yesterday. Greens are in terrible condition. IMPOSSIBLE to keep an approach on the green. Numerous times i landed the ball with a 8 or 9 or P, and landed the ball on the front of the green, and it ended up on the back apron.. Really frustrating. And the greens are running about 6.5 on the stimp. REALLY REALLY slow...
Course itself is ok, hahahaha... if you can survive the walk.

If you want to avoid the jam, you must crossed the custom by 5.45am. Guarantee no jam. Then go for braekfast. It works everytime.

I do that every weekend for Sat morning game. Always first flight tee off.

As I am no pro, I have no complaints about the course. Cowgrass, goat grass, horse grass....actually not much difference to a high handicapper like me. As long as I can play golf, I am happy. As I can't afford to join clubs in Singapore, I golf where it is affordable to me. For that kind of price I would not complain. I joined AGN and for weekend games, I only pay RM68. I dont have to do booking even on weekends. Just walk in. Needless to say, it has been somewhat like my 'home course' like that. It is a a good training ground and at anytime you put me onto a somewhat different challenging course I will not be overawed by comments like this is a difficult course. Daiman has given me enough training. Just my 2 cents worth.

I absolutely agreed with you. Best training ground for beginners and psyched you for any course anywhere. JMHO Followed with good food after the game, what more would one asked for? But it is just me la. As long as I can play golf with my good buddies, I am happy.

I am also keen if there is a second flight. But would prefer elsewhere as the green at daiman is really bad. will always get 4 putts or more. kekeke
