Legacy.....primarily for the Japan and Korean market....

i remember i was once "accused' by an american customer for fitting him a set of Callaway which was not found on the Cally US website. When he was pointed to the Japan website, he was very pleased cos his Japanese wife translated for us.

Phi will not be using these for the time being because of the wider market appeal that he is supposed to draw.

Ryo on the other hand is the perfect figure to do the honours. he turned down higher offers from 2 other brands because he tried their equipment and decided that he cannot get used to them. So its not just money talk......unlike another prominent player.

The old legacy is good. imagine this one is on steroids...... 

the 460 will fit most players but the 440 is more compact and has the advantage of weight adjustability over the Optiforce. The TA will be the muted version. 

Of course the Legacy Platinum uses a different grade of titanium known as 8-1-1 for its Speedframe. 8-1-1 Titanium has the highest tensile strength and lowest density of any of the titanium alloys today.

A question on the Advanced Optifit hosel found on the Optiforce and the Legacy Black

Previously, optifit as found in my Razr Fit was simply set to Open Face, Closed Face and Neutral Face. Next the fade/draw bias is influenced by the weight ports. However, I understood that when opening the face, the loft is reduced and vice versa, closed face increase the loft.

With the new advance optifit, now we have loft adjustability and lie adjustability. Fade/Draw adjustment and no face angle adjustment. It's almost like the Titleist Surefit.

So will the loft/face angle connection stays? i.e. If I reduce the loft, the face angle OPENS. and if the loft is increased, the face angle CLOSES?

Want a new driver for 2014 and this legacy black sure looks chio but Cally has so many choices   I like the simplicity of old optifit. How about the Xhot Pro?
