Nothing like some new inspiration to start your week. 
 
well agreed its not for those who likes stark cool but if you like a bit of old world elegance mix with modern symmetry, the new Legacy Black will hit the right note for you. 

More on the thoughts and design of the Legacy Black irons.....

head shape and size - its definitely bigger than the razr X forged but i like the size more than the LB 2012. the offset is perfect for those who prefers to see less of a gooseneck.

Perfect Balance - club heads sits on its own - 3 to 9 iron. The 3,4 and 5 irons uses tungsten weighting to create lower CG and better ball flight on the longer irons.

The VAR medallion has its function too - it is there absorb any vibration on off-centre hits and ensures that the users enjoy a soft feel, trademark of the Legacy series.

Now the most interesting part of the equation - more grooves on the long to mid iron (20 V-grooves) and less (10 V-grooves) on the short irons. this means you can create idea spin and allows golfers to control both the long and short iron better. the head size and shape is pleasing to the eye and i am personally looking forward to playing them once the steelfibers are installed in them.

Now a recap - designed by Roger Cleveland, the club face incorporates a higher strength steel face with carbon steel body to allow for higher ball speed without compromising on feel. the use of different nos of grooves is a clever way of managing spin. loft is 1 degree stronger for the better distance. The club head is made with different strength steel on the face and cavity. This is to ensure optimal distance without sacrificing feel.

Available as a customised option at BFG while the stock comes standard in GSS 95 or DG S200. Don't ask me for price as i really do not know yet.

this new legacy indeed looks very sexy n classic. Cleveland have been doing some good work with their RTX range and now the legacy series. Thanks for sharing DGman!
