I would start with a 5 or 6 hybrid and see if I like the feel before going into something with lower loft

You can start with a 4h usually around 21-23 degrees or a 5h usually 25-27degrees. Hybrids also come in a variety of lofts and styles. From the pro version that Adams have to oversized styles which are more suited to beginners.

Yes u r correct. They're a lot of hybrids in the market n I'm confused. Btw, where can I get Adams hybrid? Is there a retailer locally?

Try golf direct, few choices there. Or under our own market space.

Hey,

everything depends on whats your goal?

Do you want to just be a week end Golfer?
or
A mid handicapper?

2nd question is, how will you learn Golf?
via a Golf coach or a friend who knows how to teach Golf?

Whats your dedication level going to be?

For a newbie, I would suggest you to buy used hybrid. like 3 or 4 hybrid.

They are good replacement for 3 or 4irons.

If you have a coach,it is best you confer with him/her.
My coach recommended me lower hcp hybrid though i have been playing golf not long.
Some may not agree with my approach.
The learning curve is steep but once you get a hang of it the experience is heavenly.

I started off with total hybrid set from 3-6 & 7-P also oversize semi iron. Very easy to hit even for very poor skill me.

Bro his JPX 800 is pro model not the standard JPX which has a higher mpf value.
the other thing is you can check mpf value of each iron made to see how tough or easy it hits.

http://www.ralphmaltby.com/303

Check the link. i normally look at the mpf value of the club, quite useful.

Cheers!
