Course was quite manageable, the Pin positions were quite fair with a good mix of easy and tucked away pins, greens were rolling very nicely at a good speed of about 9.5 or so but grounds were still quite soft as I had 2 balls plugged in the middle of the fairway.

Anyway, i didn't play well cos of some mental lapse and blew 2 holes badly but luckily the rest of my team mates did well enough, especially our champion with his 6 under nett to carry us to the next round.... :-)

Just cant imagine how uncertain was this course layout, fairway condition, green speed etc tat hve me witnessg few of my single hcper kakis struggled in this game on certain index hole fr the first time. Wink

Frankly speaking, the odds of a 10.5 hcp playing 76 off blue tees in a competition set up is .......very very low. Almost impossible. If it is white tee, I can still believe but blue.....sorry I dun think so. And somehow, these kind of players will always play under during tournament.

Per USGA, the odds for -6 differential for 6-12 hcap in a tournament is 1 in 536 games.

I wonder whether anybody here actually played -3 his hcp on black tee in a tournament before not to even say -6...

And what would one feel when you have done a 76 when you are 10.5hcp? Delighted? Ashamed? Laughing
