Anyway, it's a little unfair to close the contest at 12 noon on Thursday, because the answer is quite clearly posted on the Live Scores page of the Barclays Official site since midnight last night. ProV1 users on the tournament have a Titleist logo beside their name, and all you needed to do was to count the number of Logos you see..

you are wrong here. Those are only titleist sponsored players. If you just count that way, your answer will be very off. The official ball count will only be out after everyone has teed off. It is guessing but also rewards those who do their homework.

The official ball count is in and once again Titleist is the most played ball at the Barclays Singapore Open.
Final count: Titleist 97, nearest competitor 22.

I got the same correct answer but was .... 2 slot behind.

Just a bit OB question.....in such pro competition, can they change ball fm one day to another? I understand that within the game itself, they cant....rite?

They may. But a pro is used to the characteristics of the ball and chooses the best ball for his style of play. Why change ball? Unless ball is spoilt. They will replace with the same type.

Further clarification on why the number Titleist logo on the leaderboard do not tally with the actual ball count.

There are some players that use Titleist ball but do not sign a release for Titleist to use their name or likness to promote their brand. Amateurs are not allowed to promote product.
