Agree. Yesterday was a good example at nsrcc changi. Very slow play .

Played 1236 with Izoard yesterday but managed to finish by 1715. Quite slow from the start but after Izoard send them some warning shots. They began to speed up their pace.

That's would not be a very nice thing to do if the shot "accidentally" hit someone.

Hitting shots at the front flight is no no.

They may be slow, but they don't deserve to be hit by balls and then being sent to the hospital. Imagine if a ball hit you, how would you feel?

Instead, get the marshal to speed them up.

This is a gentleman's game. A gentleman will not want to hurt another person.

Izoard sent the marshal to give them warning shots. Not that he hit at them.

But really, slow play gets my goat very badly. Good ettiquette really means consideration for other golfers. Ready golf like deciding your shots while people setting up, deciding your putt line while waiting for other golfers on the green , walking briskly to your ball while others are choosing their clubs, giving up on lost balls if there is little chance of fiinding it. All these do not affect ready golfers' play at all, in fact it might help the scores to come down, because we wont overthink the shot or putt.

Good golf is fast golf.

This thread talks about slow play.

Then there's another thread here that talks about rude marshalls when the marshalls tries to enforce timely play.

If I were running a golf course, I'd be scratching my head.

No offence intended, just making an observation.

The more we focus on what's upsetting us, the more upset we get. Then it defeats the purpose of the game; can't have fun when we're upset, right?

On the flip side, the more we focus on what pleases us, the more pleased we get and the more fun we'll have.

So to both discussions I'd offer this, take it easy.... it's a game, have fun.

We ..ChrisD how come my name involved arh . I dun hit shot one .. I will just use my hanohone . Actually is not they play slow ..is that some flights suppose to play white tee and they are playing blue to make money worth and take too many shots ..that's y .No offend just my opinion .

We met the marshal a couple of times and shoot at him till he start to chase the front flights.
Basically waiting from
Hole 1 till 8 for at least 5 to 10 mins per shot we are making.
