Junior Golf Inusrance from NSRCC

I am not sure if anyone out there has purchased golf insurance from NSRCC.

I have recently sent an applicaiton to buy insurance for my daughter ( below 14 years) old. She does only have a PC and not a handicap.

I was then told by NSRCC that the glf insurance that they sell is only for those with Handicap. Thus my application for my daughter is not approved.

Please note NSRCC subsequently change their website to reflect this . The wesbite now reads


Coverage for junior golfer under the age of 14 years old (based on date of birth) is also available with a yearly premium of $12 (subject to GST). The minimum requirement is a pass in their proficiency test and must have a handicap. For more information, please refer to details of coverage here.

Note they have added " and must have a handicap"

Question :
(1) Have you purchased insurance for your juniors ?
(2) If yes, does your junior has a handicap ?
(3) If not, then your junior may not be covered ? Am I right ?
