Hi, Any details on the vouchers? How much, terms and conditions of the use?

Also what time is the roadshow?

I am thinking of playing in Johor on Friday itself and may switch to Palm if deal is good.

Also a suggestion. Many forumners are Singaporeans, perhaps you can sell the vouchers online or make available print versions to pay at palm villa counter.

Erm i guess it'll be very helpful if we know what the vouchers costs and T&C are. Although Danga mall is not very far from customs but if i'm going to brave the traffic jam to go there, i would like to know more about it first. Thanks.

Palm villa course is quite good to my standard. Fairly wide fairway and quite well maintained..

Pallm Villa has a very nice easy-to-play layout. but course conditions can be very inconsistent. i've played there a few times when the greens were browning and sandy, and a couple more other times where the course was nice (but don't except singapore standards). but water drainage is an issue. after a heavy downpour, the bunkers and greens may have puddles of water.

One of the value for money courses in jb.

i judge jb courses by

1. Grass type. No cow grass for me.
2. Toilet standard. Oct ville and daiman 18 are the worst.
3. Price

for cheap courses
legends if not for the distance ranks tops. Followed by palm villa.

For mid price, its ponderosa and starhill and palm resort

for higher end its horizon hills and tanjong puteri A course

Hello I am a big fan of IOI Palm Villa Golf & Country Resort JB.

I play there almost every Tuesday. So sad I missed the "Thursday Golfer JB Tornament" held there last month. I think all the above posts are very true about the course, wide fairway, friendly, inconsistent green and well maintained.

The location is good, not only it is near to 2nd Link but also the convenience of food around the area.

Judging from all the positive feedback, it is worth to make a trip there to try out the course... Many thanks for all the contribution

changing room 8/10 ( clean and spacious. strong showers )
buggy 9/10 ( new buggies )
fairway condition 8/10 ( nicely trimmed berms )
green condition 8/10 ( 8.5 slope rating )
bunker condition 5/10 ( they have problem with the drainage system. wet bunkers )
value for money 10/10
difficulty average..

Overall the course is in good shape... very well maintained.. with brand new buggies... enjoyed the course very much

Played there in mid Jan. As usual, Palm Villa is quite a forgiving course as mentioned by many here already. However, I some how find the greens a bit bumpy. But overall, it's good value for money...I think I paid only RM68 for 18h with buggy
